Shape

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Class & Workshop Bookings

  • When you reserve a class, you are reserving a spot that could have been used by another student. Please cancel or modify your booking as soon as you know you can’t attend.
  • Cancellation Window: You must cancel at least 6 hours before the class or workshop start time to avoid being charged.
  • Late-Cancellation: If you cancel less than the required notice, it will be considered a late cancellation and you may incur a fee or lose your class credit.
  • No-Show: If you do not show up and have not cancelled, you will be charged the full class fee or lose your spot / credit.

Memberships and Class Packs

  • Memberships that automatically renew: After the initial minimum term (if any), you may cancel with [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] written notice.
  • Please note that while Kansas does not automatically grant a consumer right to cancel all contracts within a fixed “cooling-off” period, your cancellation terms must be clearly disclosed. (FindLaw)
  • Class packs / prepaid bundles: These are generally non-refundable and expire after the period stated at purchase (if applicable).
  • Freezing membership (if offered): You may freeze your membership for a defined period (e.g., 1–3 months) by giving notice ahead of the next billing date or fulfilling criteria.

Refunds & Credits

  • Prepaid classes, memberships, workshops and class passes are generally non-refundable.
  • If the studio cancels a class or event, you will be issued a credit or allowed to attend at a later date (or the workshop will be rescheduled).
  • Transfers: Some class passes may be transferable (at the studio’s discretion) but are not guaranteed.

How to Cancel or Request a Refund

  • To cancel a booking: Log into your account via our booking system at elianalotus.com or call/email the studio at krista.kingsbury@outlook.com
  • For membership cancellation: Send a written email to krista.kingsbury@outlook.com with your name, membership ID, desired end date, and request for confirmation.
  • You must receive confirmation of cancellation from the studio. Until you receive confirmation, your membership or booking may remain active and future billing may apply.

Special Circumstances

  • Medical/relocation/emergency: Please contact us as soon as possible — we may make accommodations or offer pro-rated credit at our discretion.
  • Holiday / special event classes: Because of high demand, cancellation windows may be longer (for example, 12 hours prior) for holiday-themed classes or workshops.

  • Kansas law does not automatically guarantee a right to cancel every service contract simply because you changed your mind (unless specific statute applies). (FindLaw)
  • For any automaticrenewal memberships or contracts, state and federal developments (e.g., the Federal Trade Commission “click-to-cancel” rule) may require clear disclosures to consumers. (Federal Trade Commission)
  • We will comply with all applicable laws and aim to be transparent and fair in our policies.
